The inventures of this technolgy are Andries Louw and Andrew Walker, who planned on having drones plant many seeds in a matter of minutes. This technolgy is now often used by many organisations to help replant the forest. This technolgy is still quite young and being developed.
There are two kinds of these drones, and the first one would get filled up with seeds and then find areas of best survival and then drop them. It is said that these drones could plant 3/4 of an arce each flight. The second kind of tree planting drone shoots compact nutrient seed pods into the forest. Then other drones add on to the work by scouting for good areas, watering, and so on. And while both of these are pleasings these can only help replant, not stop deforestion. And one problem was that the seeds could get eaten, which is still a problem but now seeds are placed in vessels to try to increase survial chances. So while very helpful and could solve many climate problems, if deforestion and illegal logging continue, this is pointless.
There are many who want to save this planet, and with that, many non-profit organisations and I am going to list a few. I was inspired to talk about this from Mr.Beast's TeamTrees which even though they planted 2 million trees they still accept donations, one dollar= 1 tree planted. There are other organisations out there and you can vist some by clicking on the pictures.
